These cartoons show many things. One shows a teenager with a gun. This refers to the school shootings that has happened before. The other one shows General Bush reciting the second amendment. In the background, there are the Virginia tech victims. I think the cartoonist is trying to say the Second Amendment is a reason why people get easy access to guns. The people who died because of the shooting do not care about the amendment. I agree. I think the second amendment makes no sense now. It was only made so the states could have militias way back the the country was born. Now, people can get guns too easily. It then leads to tragedies like what happened at Virginia Tech. I believe we should take away the Second Amendment because it is outdated.
Good job, Mr. Robinson. You took the time find some political cartoons. I agree with your opinion. The second amendment does more harm than good. Ask the victims of gun crimes how they feel about the right to bear arms being protected.
